Community Guidelines
Holy Humor exists so Christian creators can be funny together without checking their faith at the door — or their kindness. A few ground rules keep it that way.
Punch up, not down
Comedy that punches at ideas, institutions, or the powerful is welcome. Comedy that targets people for their ethnicity, disability, gender, or personal struggle is not.
Keep it Christ-honoring
You can joke about church life, denominations, your own tradition, and yourself. Do not mock the person of Christ, and do not use Scripture as a punchline against people.
Family-friendly by default
No sexual content, gratuitous violence, or explicit profanity. Mild edge is fine when the joke needs it — err on the side of what you'd share with your youth group.
Mark satire clearly
Satirical articles must include the built-in satire disclaimer. Don't manufacture fake quotes attributed to real pastors or public figures — parody is fine, deception is not.
Credit collaborators, respect copyright
Only upload work you made or have permission to share. Tag your collaborators. See our Copyright & IP policy for takedown info.

What happens when rules break
Depending on severity, we may remove content, issue a warning, temporarily suspend an account, or permanently ban. Repeat offenders lose access.
